How do I get to Vancouver Skydive?

We are conveniently located at the Pitt Meadows Regional Airport, just 5 minutes from Hwy 7 through Port Coquitlam. Get to us toll free via Lougheed Highway. If you’re coming from Surrey or Langley, The Golden Ears Toll Bridge is the fastest and most economical route. Just cross the bridge, follow the exits for Airport Way and turn right on Baynes Road. Or, get directions directly from your location to our skydive center.

Vancouver Skydive is also located along public transit routes from Greater Vancouver for the most economical travel. Call or email the office if you need help planning your trip.

Can I bring friends/family to watch?

Yes! Friends and family are welcome. We have a large spectator area adjacent to the landing area.

Please make sure your friends and family leave their pets at home.

We have a strict NO PETS policy.

Do I need to make a reservation?

We strongly recommend that you make a reservation so that you can jump on the day and time that you want. Same day reservations are welcome. Be sure you give us a call before heading out to get details on the weather and time slots available.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may change or cancel a reservation up to 72 hours before a scheduled appointment. If you change or cancel your booking less than 72 hours prior, you will lose your deposit.

If you have bad weather at the time of your reservation, we are happy to rebook your skydive with no fee.

What is good skydiving weather?

We want you to get the maximum free fall time. Blue skies and broken clouds are best.  Sometimes we are able to jump with an overcast sky if the clouds are high enough. Make sure you call the office before coming to the skydive center. This allows us to do a weather check as close as possible to your reserved skydive time.

What should I wear?

Closed toe, lace up shoes such as running shoes or skate shoes. No hiking boots please. We want you to be comfortable, so tight jeans are not recommended. We will provide a jumpsuit and goggles for your skydive. Let your instructor know if you wear contact lenses so they can fit you with the proper goggles.

What are the weight restrictions and why are there weight restrictions?

The weight restriction for tandem skydiving is 230 lbs. Skydiving equipment is rated by the manufacturers for a certain weight and speed. We are strict about following the manufacturer regulations to ensure that the equipment is being operated at its highest safety standards.

Can I bring my own camera?

No. The Canadian Sport Parachute Association mandates that skydivers must  have a B license and 200 skydives before wearing a camera. We do offer video and skydive packages if you want a souvenir of the jump.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Visa, MasterCard, Interac and Cash.

What else should I know?

Eat before you come to skydive. You need energy to support the adrenalin rush!

Do not come to skydive hung over, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
